About Laudium Disaster Management

Laudium Disaster Management (LDM) is a dedicated volunteer-based organization serving the community of Ward 61 under the City of Tshwane. Our mission is to provide critical support during emergencies such as fires, natural disasters, and major incidents by coordinating with local emergency services and utility providers. We also play a crucial role in community events by ensuring fire safety, traffic management, and first aid support.

In recent years, LDM has taken a leading role in managing crises such as the Laudium Water Crisis, where we mobilized resources to deliver essential water supplies to affected residents. Additionally, our volunteers actively support community initiatives, from fun runs and religious events to funerals and accident scenes, offering vital services that promote safety and well-being.

We believe in preparing for the predictable and planning for the unpredictable, ensuring that our community is equipped to handle any challenge that comes our way.
